
Inconel Series
Inconel nickel-chromium superalloys serve where heat and corrosion attack together. Inconel 600 (UNS N06600), with 72% minimum nickel, is the standard for furnace components, heat-treatment fixtures and caustic soda service up to ~540°C in chlorination duty and beyond 1000°C in clean heat.
Inconel 625 (UNS N06625) adds molybdenum and niobium for exceptional strength without heat treatment and outstanding resistance to seawater, sour gas and mixed acids — the alloy of choice for offshore components, FGD reheaters and weld overlay. Supplied in Grade 1 (annealed, for wet corrosion below 600°C) and Grade 2 (solution annealed, for creep service above it).
